How an urgent request works
1. Describe the problem
A photo says more than a long description: the tradesperson then knows which parts to bring.
2. See the price and the time
You see the hourly rate, the urgency uplift and the smallest billed block before you confirm — no surprise after the work.
3. The work and the invoice
The clock starts when the work starts. The invoice separates hours, materials and the uplift.
Urgency uplift
The uplift applies to working time only, never to materials or travel. It appears in the calculation up front and later as its own line on the invoice.
What to do before the handyman arrives
Shut the water valve or switch off the breaker, mop up water on the floor and keep children and pets away. Send us photos so the handyman knows what to bring.
